only salman khan

Salman Khan’s debut as a leading actor came with Sooraj R. Barjatya's ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, which was released in 1989. The movie went on to become one of the most successful films of that time and also got him Filmfare Best Male Debut Award, apart from a nomination for Filmfare Best Actor Award. In 1990, he was seen in ‘Baaghi’, with South Indian actress Nagma, which turned out to be another major hit. The following year, Salman Khan starred in a number of films, including ‘Patthar Ke Phool’, ‘Sanam Bewafa’ and ‘Saajan’. The movie ‘Saajan’ established him as an actor who could perform some serious roles too and helped him move away from the ‘romantic guy’ image. However, the initial success could not guarantee future hits and almost all his 1992-1993 releases turned out to be flops. It was in 1994 that Salman Khan became the king of box office once again, when Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ hit the theaters. The movie turned out to be one of the highest grossers of all times and also won him his second nomination for Filmfare Best Actor Award.

Salman Khan admitted himself that, “Shilpa Shetty and Amitabh Bachchan have done a great job in the past as the hosts of the show. I really respect them for that and I will try to match upto them.” He also added, “I will try to make the audience feel there is more fun outside the house than inside,” Everyone expected Salman’s return to the small screen with the new season of Dus ka Dum. Now, with a change in plans, he would be seen instead in Bigg Boss 4, which would be aired in Colors. As a reason for the change in his plans Salman stated that the contract with the Dus ka Dum team for the first season ended last year; there have been no further talks. So he took up the opportunity. Possible competition is expected between Bigg Boss 4 and Kaun Banega Crorepati’s latest season, which are to be aired around the same time. Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan would go head to head in a virtual battle for dominance. When asked about this, Salman commented that comparison was not possible. Both being different personalities and different style so there is no question of competition.

The incident took place at a press conference in New Delhi, to promote Salman's upcoming film
Veer.
Salman launched an angry outburst at the journalist who asked him about his look in the movie.

"From what angle do you think my look is similar to any Hollywood actor's?" Salman thundered.

"Brad Pitt, for example, was wearing a mini-skirt in his film but I'm not. And does my hair in the posters look blonde to you (like Pitt's)?

Plus, I am wearing an allleather ensemble in Veer." Salman said he had sported blonde hair.

Salman Khan is very excited about his forthcoming action film titled ‘Veer’. The film has been directed by Anil Sharma and the story has been written by Salman himself. The recently released look of Salman has created stirs as the actor is seen in a beefed up, bronzed look with unusually long hair. Salman, wearing a fur jacket and an ethnic neckpiece and kada (bangle), holding a sword in one hand and a shield in the other, looks no less than a mythological Greek warrior.
